Big Beach Clean 2026 – Strandhill Beach

The Big Beach Clean at Strandhill Beach is a Clean Coasts initiative and part of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), bringing together communities and volunteers to remove litter from one of Ireland's most loved beaches.

Volunteers will carry out marine litter surveys to help quantify the amount and types of litter found on Irish beaches. This event also takes place over the same weekend as World Clean Up Day, making it a truly global effort.
